Welcome to Tatum, a fast-growing company that simplifies blockchain development for developers. Our platform supports over 100 blockchains, and we have a team of 50 people working together across different cultures.

About the Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who has knowledge of blockchain technology to join our team of 8 dedicated Engineers.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about cloud infrastructure and have experience with orchestration and containerization software stacks. We do not require prior knowledge of blockchain; instead, we will provide training to the selected candidate.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and manage Gitlab CI/CD pipelines tailored for Kubernetes deployments
  • Building strong observability for our infrastructure and products
  • Collaborate closely with developers to reinforce the system infrastructure and enhance scalability
  • Implement and improve observability system to optimize service performance and reliability
  • Establish operational standards and comprehensive documentation for procedural clarity
  • Enhance system automation to augment self-healing capabilities and streamline operations
  • Administer cloud and database systems to ensure uninterrupted service availability
  • Promptly diagnose and resolve production issues to minimize disruptions
  • Uphold service quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Our Tech Stack:
  • Public clouds (GCP) and on-prem servers
  • Linux, Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), CI/CD (GitLab CI)
  • Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform, Ansible), Code-first approach
  • 100+ blockchains, Tatum's Node.JS applications, MongoDB, Redis
  • Observability stack (Metrics, Logs, Traces, ...)
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience as a Cloud or DevOps engineer, along with expertise in blockchain technology and experience with orchestration and containerization software stacks.

  • Experience with GCP services or other cloud platforms like AWS / Azure
  • Strong communication skills in English to support our engineers and customers
  • Comfortable with an on-call duty in a distributed remote team
  • Able to come up with new ideas and contribute to the growth of the company
