Human Resources Project Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Project Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing resource planning strategies to meet project objectives and company deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the allocation of resources to various projects within the organization, working closely with Project Managers, department heads, and HR to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- Analyze data trends and project requirements to predict future resource needs, using data-driven insights to forecast demand for resources.
- Support the allocation of resources thoughtfully, ensuring each project can access the necessary personnel, balancing resource distribution to avoid over or underutilization.
- Develop detailed schedules that outline when and where resources will be needed, anticipating conflicts and preparing contingency plans.
- Monitor resource usage and adjust allocations in real-time to address project shifts and changes in availability.
- Work closely with Project Managers and department heads to understand the nuances of each project, ensuring that resource distribution aligns with project objectives.
- Collaborate with HR to forecast staffing needs and recruit or train additional resources as required.
- Work with Finance during monthly closing and budget to provide actuals and forecast.
- Prepare reports that track resource status, utilization, and efficiency, providing stakeholders with transparency and insights into resource management.
- Strive for operational excellence by identifying opportunities to optimize resource usage.
Requirements:
- Master qualifications in Data Analytics, Business Management, or similar is desirable; however, those with extensive field experience are encouraged to apply.
- 3-5 years' proven experience in resource planning or Project Management roles.
- Experience in project-driven companies with multi-disciplinary and multinational environment.
- Experience with workforce planning software would be a plus.
- Advanced IT skills across Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with PowerBI.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Fluency in English; French and Portuguese would be an advantage.
- Willingness to be flexible with work hours when appropriate to meet operational requirements.
- Ability to work well under pressure and produce outcomes within monthly deadlines.
