Norfin, a leading pan-European alternative asset manager, is looking for two top-tier experienced professionals to join their Investment & Origination team in Belgium. The company was founded in 1999 and has over €2.1bn of assets under management. In 2018, Norfin was acquired by Arrow Global, a renowned credit and real estate investment firm.
The successful candidates will be responsible for analysing, structuring, and financing transactions, as well as performing research and modelling efforts. They will also attend meetings, site visits, negotiations, and due diligence sessions. The ideal candidate should have strong drive, attention to detail, and goal orientation, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key responsibilities include sourcing and pitching investment opportunities, designing business plans, supporting financial modelling, and providing analytical insights to managers. Additionally, they will coordinate and mentor analysts, engage directly with investors and financing parties, create deal memorandums and pitches, perform market research and analysis, and undertake KPI analysis and reporting.
Candidate Profile:
At least three years of experience in Real Estate Investment Firms, Private Equity, M&A, Consultancy, or Corporate Finance positions in reputable firms are highly valued. Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, financial modelling skills, and an understanding of finance and valuation fundamentals are essential. A degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering, or Maths with relevant finance experience is preferred. Fluency in English (C1 or above) and Portuguese – English certificate is a plus.
Solid analytical skills, critical thinking, perfectionism, and attention to detail are crucial. Effective communication and collaboration skills, as well as a willingness to constantly learn and evolve, are also essential. A strong drive to deliver results and make an impact is required. Perseverance and a willingness to work in a demanding and dynamic environment are necessary qualities for this role.
