About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Officer to join our KYC (Know Your Customer) team in Porto. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and determining the adequacy of documentation and regulatory information received from customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze financial and regulatory information from clients to determine its adequacy and approve or reject documentation.
- Perform standard due diligence on new customers and counterparty relationships, verifying identities and assessing associated risks.
- Maintain proper documentation of all KYC-related activities, including customer information, due diligence records, and ongoing monitoring efforts.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Team to implement best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Respond to inquiries and requests regarding regulatory issues within KYC requests.
Requirements:
- Degree in Management, Economics, International Relations, Finance, or Legal.
- English language proficiency (B2 minimum).
- Knowledge of the APC Region (preferential).
- Ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Excellent analytical skills.
