Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary:
As a Senior Accounting Manager at H.B. Fuller, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor a team of accountants
Ensure that Monthly, Quarterly and Year-End Financial Statements are prepared in accordance with both USGAAP and Statutory accounting principles within the timelines set in cooperation with Management and other functions
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis, guaranteeing that all supporting documentation is in place
Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Year-End Financial Analytical Reviews
Ensure the preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure that Statutory Annual Accounts are submitted on time to local authorities by the team
Coordinate and support the team with external auditors during audits and ensure all required documentation is provided
Ensure that Tax Returns are filed on time and in cooperation with local tax advisors as well as the Direct Tax Team
Ensure compliance with other local statutory and tax requirements (e.g.: National Statistic questionnaires; VAT Declarations, among others)
Ensure that all RTR internal controls are compliant with SOX Requirements
Ensure that the team has effective controls implemented for Foreign Currencies deviations and grant the proper reporting to the Corporate Team
Improve processes and controls of Finance Information Systems and Internal Controls with the objective of simplifying and standardizing the accounting structure and enhancing the accuracy of the financial statements
Support the development of the Accounting Team

Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or another related field
Strong accounting technical background with a Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA or equivalent qualification)
Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably in multinational companies or Shared Services Centers
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
Excellent written and spoken English
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is a plus
Organized, motivated, and professional
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
