Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a talented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Glartek, a fast-growing global leader in Augmented and Connected Worker solutions for the Manufacturing and Asset-intensive industries.

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software solutions, which combine Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT) domains to bring visibility, optimization, and reassurance of field operations.

You will be involved in all aspects of software testing, from defining and managing testing processes to reporting and triaging detailed bug reports.

  • Define and manage testing processes to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Participate in agile planning and delivery process to prioritize testing tasks
  • Report and triage detailed bug reports to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Write and execute functional tests to validate software functionality
  • Test features across web, mobile, and smart glasses platforms
  • Participate in release management activities to ensure smooth deployment
  • Support production deployments to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Able to track down root cause of defects using debugging tools
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages
  • Familiarity with Cypress and Appium (or app testing platform)
  • Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously but reach out immediately if blocked
  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers and clear status updates
  • Inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with other parts of the organization
