We are seeking a highly skilled Creative Software Developer for Casual Games to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of games that reach millions of players. You will work on maintaining and enhancing games across various genres, each built with diverse technologies, providing a unique chance to grow rapidly both in game development and expand your knowledge and skills.
About the Role
As a Creative Software Developer, you will be responsible for supporting our growing library of 100+ games on web, mobile, and PC with brand new features and content. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to analyze, develop, and deliver game updates to keep the games engaging and fresh for our fans.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of new games and features across various platforms
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and test game updates
- Work on optimizing performance, refactoring code, integrating third-party libraries, and addressing user feedback
- Stay up-to-date with web technology standards and trends, and apply best practices to our codebase
- Architect and write scalable/modular code that will be easily maintained for years
- Work with external developers to integrate their games into our platform
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 1 year of experience programming web games
- Strong knowledge of modern web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, Canvas, WebGL, Webpack, Node, and NPM)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with external developers
