Role Overview:

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be part of our team responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of businesses seeking our services. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the soundness of our lending decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Assess company financials, operations, and trade cycles to understand fundamental business health and inherent credit risk.
• Analyze companies' structure, their directors, and activity to identify potential fraud risks.
• Synthesize and present analysis to senior leadership during the decision-making process.
• Monitor existing client portfolios and review requests from existing clients.
• Provide support for credit analysis in other countries, leveraging your knowledge of the Portuguese market and its specifics.

About You:
• Hold a quantitative bachelor's and/or master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Possess strong knowledge of the Portuguese market and its nuances, as well as fluency in both Portuguese and English.
• Demonstrate analytical skills and experience in understanding business operations and performance.
• Be proficient in Excel, with knowledge of VBA/Macros a plus.
