User Experience Designer

At Goparity, we are an impact finance platform connecting companies with sustainable projects to investors worldwide. We seek a talented User Experience (UX) Designer to help shape our future by creating a product reflecting our vision to democratize sustainable finance.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will drive end-to-end UX/UI design processes, ideate, conceptualize, design, test, and refine features and functions. Conducting user research and usability testing is crucial in understanding user needs, pain points, and behaviors, translating insights into actionable design decisions. We have a close relationship with our community, who want to be heard, and we want them to contribute to shaping Goparity.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the entire UX/UI design process for solving problems, from ideation to testing and refinement.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand users' needs and translate insights into actionable design decisions.
- Elevate every design decision by ensuring user empathy and accessibility, aligning with our mission of creating positive social and environmental impact.
- Create high-quality design solutions through wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that illustrate how features and functions should look and feel.
This role also involves designing UI components that reflect our brand and appeal to users, providing a seamless experience across all digital touchpoints. Additionally, you'll work on our Design System to bring uniformity, scalability, and consistency across our product and platforms.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 3+ years of experience in Product design, preferably in the startup world.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (ideally Figma).
- Able to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, especially with product, engineering, and customer success.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and experience in designing for both web and mobile platforms.

We offer a competitive salary range of €26,500 to €30,500 per year, inclusive of a food subsidy. This role is remote-friendly, with one mandatory in-person meeting every quarter in Lisbon.
