About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Portuguese online gambling regulation and be able to develop expert knowledge of the sector. They will work closely with the Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos (SRIJ) to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including SRIJ;
- Obtain and maintain online gambling licenses;
- Review and validate the compliance of key projects;
- Detect and mitigate non-compliance;
- Manage administrative misconduct litigation proceedings;
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Law, Political Sciences, or Business/Audit;
- A minimum of ten years of professional experience in a regulated industry;
- Native Portuguese speaker and full fluency in English;
- Strong analytical and communication skills;
