We are seeking a seasoned Global Sourcing Director to lead our Procurement Team in Lisbon.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of purchasing specialists and assistants, guiding them towards efficient and effective procurement operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive procurement excellence, reduce costs, and foster strong supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve procurement goals.
  • Manage workload allocation and tracking, forecasting activities, and ensure timely and high-quality orders.
  • Optimize procurement processes through the utilization of Airbus ERP System (SAP) and other specific tools.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement is necessary.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience is required.
  • Exceptional communication and change management skills are essential.
  • Candidate must be forward-thinking, customer-focused, and adept at navigating complex systems.
  • English fluency is mandatory; additional languages are beneficial.
