We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our dynamic team at Heather Moors, a premium venue in Cascais.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To take customer orders and deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
  • To be knowledgeable about the bar and restaurant menu, providing recommendations and answering questions with confidence.
  • To stay attentive to guests' needs, guaranteeing their satisfaction through excellent service.
  • To ensure food is prepared correctly and presented well, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • To adhere to proper alcohol handling, restaurant standards, procedures, rules, and health and safety requirements, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • To perform shift duties such as polishing glasses, silverware, wiping tables, and maintaining a clean service area, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • To deliver checks and collect payments accurately, ensuring efficient payment processing.
  • To open or close the service area at the beginning and end of each shift, taking ownership of opening and closing duties.
  • To maintain the restaurant in perfect condition, upholding the appearance and reputation of Heather Moors.
  • To provide excellent service and ensure customer satisfaction, embodying the values of Heather Moors.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills, enabling effective multitasking and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective interaction with colleagues and customers.
  • Native or fluent English speaker with a C1 level proficiency, displaying effective communication skills in English.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around €25,000 - €35,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
