The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our backend engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in backend development, proven leadership skills, and a passion for driving technical excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow our backend engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of backend systems and services, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.
  • Strategy and Vision: Contribute to the strategic planning of the company's backend architecture and technology stack, aligning the team's goals and objectives with the company's overall business strategy and technical roadmap.
  • Operations and Support: Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of backend systems in production, implementing and monitoring system health metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong technical background in C#.
