About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Team Lead to join our engineering team. As a Backend Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of backend engineers and working closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain high-quality backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 3-5 backend engineers and provide regular feedback and guidance.
- Work with engineering, product, and design leads to define a vision and strategy for the cross-functional team.
- Drive the delivery of high-quality backend systems and ensure they meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with the team to design, build, test, and maintain high-quality code in Golang, Python, or Ruby.
- Help scale our backend code base while maintaining a strong engineering culture.
About You:
- Strong experience as a software engineer with exposure to architectural patterns of large-scale web applications.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead the evolution of your team.
