We are looking for a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and promoting security incident management processes and automation within our organization.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security incident management processes and automation.
  • Manage incident response and their lifecycle, including performing incident response training for the organization.
  • Integrate our platforms and services with the SOC (Security Operations Center).
  • Engage in investigation, threat intelligence, and detection engineering.
  • Develop, improve, and manage alerts and detection of automated escalation processes.
  • Work on custom integrations requiring development skills in Python, Bash, and optionally Go.
  • Collaborate with other teams to streamline security across OLX, including Tech, Privacy, and Compliance teams.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience working in a Security Operations Center.
  • 2-5 years experience working with Elastic stack for SIEM.
  • Experience in Incident Response and Security Operations within a rapidly changing environment including Cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • 2-5 years of experience working with Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of modern security technologies, especially for customer-centric applications, WAF, SSDLC, IAM, IDS/IPS, SOAR, SIEM, MDM, XDR, and AV.
  • 2-5 years experience working with PagerDuty for alert management and escalation.
  • Understanding of least privilege concepts, agile methodologies, continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure as code, and containerization.
  • Some understanding of security frameworks and best practices like NIST, ISO27001, CIS, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
