We provide services to manage the cost and risks involved in HR plans, programs and systems related to a global workforce. Our team advises on business strategy related to people.

As a Manager in our Mobility Tax practice, you'll provide strategic tax planning recommendations to clients including pre-assignment planning, post-support, repatriation assistance, and ongoing support in locations worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Working with the Mobility Tax team to provide individual tax planning, compliance services and advice on tax implications related to employee mobility and high net worth individuals as well as corporate and employment tax planning.
  • Engaging in complex compliance and advisory work; working with colleagues globally, preparing tax returns, reviewing/signing off, writing correspondence, providing authoritative advice/guidance, and reviewing tax cost estimates.
  • Directly engaging with clients to question and negotiate to provide results.

  • Technical excellence and practical/business-driven approach to solving client challenges.
  • Provide quality tax returns and overseas tax filings and prepare/review calculations (international tax cost projections, equalization and hypothetical tax).

  • Generate revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities to improve processes and acquire new business.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead workstreams from planning to implementation – managing resources and budgets effectively.
  • Develop understanding of expatriate tax issues, trends and tools, and maintain your reputation as an authoritative professional.
  • Managing, coaching, and developing junior resources and peers, focusing on their technical and client service skills to develop their career.

To qualify for this role, you must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in similar functions. You should also possess an understanding of automated tax-processing systems, as well as tax laws. Additionally, you require excellent communication and negotiation skills, English language proficiency (Intermediate level and above), strong analytical and numerical skills, and proficiency in standard Microsoft based packages such as Excel.

This is a highly motivated role that requires problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry, and effective communication skills. As a confident team player, you will be equipped with strong people management skills and a genuine passion to make things happen in a dynamic organization.
