Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Security Operations Engineer to join our InfoSec team. As a key member, you will be responsible for implementing security measures and leading incident response efforts to safeguard our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor networks, systems, and applications using various tools to identify potential threats and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Implement and manage EDR solutions closely with IT to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Lead incident response efforts, conducting thorough investigations and root cause analysis to minimize risks and mitigate threats.
  • C coordinate rapid and effective responses to detected threats, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  • Spearhead threat intelligence initiatives, developing comprehensive threat models and identifying potential attack vectors.
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat data to relevant stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommended actions.
  • Propose and implement security controls based on threat intelligence findings, aligning with organizational goals and providing actionable insights.
  • Deliver concise, impactful security reports tailored for management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommended actions.
  • Lead vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts, ensuring regular scans of the external perimeter and efficient vulnerability triage.
  • Develop and deliver targeted security awareness campaigns, conducting simulated phishing exercises to assess and improve organizational resilience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security operations.
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
  • Experience with IDS, EDR, and other security tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CEH).

Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this position does not offer relocation assistance. Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
