About the RoleThis key position involves performing procurement and sourcing functions, including category strategy development, supplier development, commodity/services/goods procurement, outsourcing, vendor selection, and project material sourcing/planning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for focusing resources on continuous improvement of material movement through various processes, establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks to measure actual performance against goals regularly.
Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver substantial cost reductions and process enhancements
- Develop and implement innovative procurement strategies to optimize supply chains
- Oversee contract management and compliance to protect the company's interests
- Develop and implement a supplier diversity program to support the company's sustainability goals
- Provide strategic procurement leadership and mentorship to the procurement team
A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate should have 6-8 years of procurement leadership experience, with a focus on cost management and strategic sourcing.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing procurement teams, strong financial acumen, and experience with contract negotiation are essential.
Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
