Convatec is a global medical products and technologies company, focused on solutions for the management of chronic conditions. We are seeking a highly skilled Group Tax Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the group tax reporting process and develop in-house talent.
  • Support external advisors with global tax compliance for direct and indirect tax.
  • Play a critical role in the transformation and implementation of a future-focused tax operating model.
  • Develop a varied tax career in a listed multinational environment.
  • Support ad-hoc projects with our business units and the wider tax and finance function.
Requirements:
  • Tax reporting expertise and technical experience in direct tax.
  • Awareness of indirect taxes is desirable.
  • Motivated by delivering change and excited to develop a board skillset across the tax life cycle.
  • Experience of working with multinational enterprises or in-house tax or finance functions.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Core Competencies:
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage own workload independently with limited manager supervision.
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and make recommendations and decisions.
Education/Qualifications:
  • Accounting and/or CTA qualified.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax accounting under IFRS.
Travel Requirements:
  • The role may require occasional travel to the London Paddington or Lisbon offices.
Working Conditions:

Hybrid/Remote working with days in the office driven by business requirements.
