Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer - Lisbon
Candidates for this position will leverage Lisbon's tech spirit to infuse it into their brand-new Tech Competence Centre, reinforcing technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and responding to the growth of their business.
The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce, including customizing and configuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud from an Admin perspective.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce.
- Customize and configure Salesforce Marketing Cloud from an Admin perspective.
- AMPscript and Scripting: Writing and optimizing AMPScript for dynamic content and personalization in emails, mobile messages, and cloud pages.
- Automation/Journey Builder: Building and managing automation processes, including triggered emails, journey workflows, and customer engagement paths.
- Integration: Integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow.
- Data Management: Handling data architecture, segmentation, and maintaining data quality within the Marketing Cloud environment.
- Perform data migration and data cleansing activities as required.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce implementation and integration.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and enhancements and evaluate their applicability to our organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements and best practices.
Academic Background and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, including expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration, AMPscript, HTML, SSJS, CSS, and SQL programming is required.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification is a must, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification is also a requirement.
Proficient in web services (SOAP, REST) and experienced in Agile delivery are desirable.
Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and best practices is essential.
