We are seeking an experienced Application Security and Performance Consultant to join our team at Cloudflare. This is a customer-facing position that requires technical expertise in Layer 7 products, including DDoS Protection, WAF, API Gateway, Bot Management, Certificates Manager, Rate Limiting, SSL, and Page Shield.

As a Consultant, you will work with enterprise customers to deliver timely and organized services, ensuring they get the most value possible from their Cloudflare investment. You will gather business and technical requirements, use cases, and other necessary information to build, migrate, and deliver solutions on behalf of the customer.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing position as a Customer Engineer, Security Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Onboarding Engineer, Consultant, Technical Support Engineer, Solutions Architect, and/or Systems Engineer. They should have a deep understanding of Internet and Security technologies, such as DNS, WAFs, Bot Management, Rate Limiting, (M)TLS, and certificates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver timely and organized services for customers
  • Gather business and technical requirements, use cases, and other necessary information to build, migrate, and deliver solutions on behalf of the customer
  • Implement changes on behalf of the customer in the Cloudflare environment following the customer's change management process
  • Troubleshoot implementation issues and collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering, and other teams to assist technical escalations
