Supply Chain Negotiator

Rapidly growing multinational product development and manufacturing company seeks a highly skilled Senior Specialist Sourcing to join their team in Portugal.

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Specialist Sourcing to collaborate with internal teams on direct procurement, supporting project quotation and sample delivery to achieve competitive price, quality, and lead time for materials or related supply. This person will work closely with Quality and NPD teams to assess suppliers based on commercial, quality, social responsibility, C-TPAT, Engineering, Production, and Logistics requirements.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Create and maintain accurate supplier database in SAP ensuring timely updates and records management;
  
• Prepare and create orders for samples and new projects, completing all processes as scheduled;
  
• Develop quotations and new suppliers based on competitive price, good quality, best lead time, and service for new projects;
  
• Work with Quality and NPD teams to evaluate suppliers according to commercial, quality, social responsibility, C-TPAT, Engineering, Production, and Logistics standards;
  
• Participate in supplier management with PMC and Quality in respect of production capacity requirements, on-time delivery, and production quality;
  
• Maintain up-to-date supplier database ensuring ongoing accuracy;
  
• Achieve cost savings towards target cost level and provide timely feedback on quotations for new projects;
  
• Prepare comprehensive reporting.
  

Requirements and Qualifications

• 
  
• Possess excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills;
  
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  
• Hold relevant degree in Supply Chain Management or related field;
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in direct procurement or sourcing role within a multinational environment;
  
• Excellent knowledge of SAP and procurement software;
  
• Strong understanding of commercial, quality, and social responsibility standards.
