Your Role
We're looking for a seasoned Atlassian Expert (Jira & Confluence) to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing customized Jira and Confluence solutions tailored to our Engineering Software Process. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will ensure seamless integration and efficient operation of our Atlassian stack.
- Analyze business process requirements and develop strategies to optimize/improve JIRA/Confluence configurations.
- Offer application support for JIRA and Confluence to IT and the broader organization.
- Familiarize yourself with JIRA APIs and webhooks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to assess JIRA and Confluence plug-ins, identify licensing needs, and execute testing, installation, and configuration tasks.
- Apply design principles to create comprehensive JIRA workflows and associated screen schemes for intricate projects.
- Develop custom XML-based JIRA gadgets.
- Guarantee JIRA plugin support and configuration as necessary.
- Produce detailed documentation outlining workflows and processes implemented in JIRA to facilitate runbooks.
- Create JIRA projects, queries, and reports as needed.
- Gain familiarity with plugins such as: BigPicture, Tempo, Structure, ScriptRunner, etc.
Your Expertise
A minimum of 6 years of experience in:
- Integrating JIRA with Confluence.
- Administering JIRA & Confluence.
- Establishing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex JIRA workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
- Implementing and educating others on JIRA and JIRA Agile best practices, custom dashboards, and custom reports.
- Migrating projects seamlessly from other JIRA instances.
- Researching, evaluating, installing, and managing JIRA add-ons.
- Demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and process implementation skills.
