Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team in Portugal. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about cloud computing and committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with sales teams to design cloud-based solutions for customers and drive adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  2. Be an AWS evangelist, educating customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and establishing credibility with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
  3. Conduct deep-dive education/training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
  4. Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, tutorials, etc.
  5. Present sessions at AWS and industry conferences.
  6. Technical liaison between customers, service engineering & support teams.

Requirements

  • Extensive design/implementation/consulting/devops experience with distributed applications.
  • Extensive experience in infrastructure or software architecture, with knowledge in associated technology areas such as databases and networking.
  • Ability to travel, including internationally.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential, knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
