Catawiki is a leading online marketplace for special objects. Our team of experts reviews and selects items from various categories, including Art, Design, Jewellery, Fashion, Classic Cars, Collectables, and more.

As an Expert Silver in the Interiors team, you will be responsible for evaluating and arranging lots submitted by our users. You will create attractive auctions every week in collaboration with other experts, utilizing your expertise in classic furniture, brocante, and decorative objects from around the globe.

We strive to maintain transparent and fair user transactions, and your expertise plays a significant role in achieving this standard. You will review lot titles, descriptions, pictures, and provide users with estimated values based on this information. If necessary, you will professionally reject submissions.

You will cover for an expert taking maternity leave from September until January 2025. This is a great opportunity to join our mission to fulfill people's passions as part of a dynamic organization.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A true expertise in Antique silver with broad knowledge of international silver
  • Natural teamwork skills and thrives in a diverse environment
  • Excellent English communication
  • Strong computer skills
  • An extensive network of dealers/buyers (a plus)
  • Documented commercial experience (a plus)
