About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Professional to join our team at SBM Offshore. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement expert to drive business value through effective sourcing, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with cross-functional teams, develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives;
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and cost savings;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless procurement operations;
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions and negotiate contracts that meet business needs;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the procurement lifecycle;
- Leverage data analytics and insights to optimize procurement spend and identify areas for improvement;
- Provide thought leadership on strategic procurement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or a related field, preferably in a global industry;
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements through procurement initiatives;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels;
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software;
- Fluency in English;
