Technical Leadership Frontend Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to lead our development team in Portugal. As a key member, you will be responsible for leading user interface development, ensuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness.

As a Technical Leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders, to build robust web applications. You will take ownership of the design system, proposing technical strategies aligned with business goals and user-centered approaches.

Main Responsibilities:

• Discovery Sessions: Lead sessions with internal departments to understand needs and bridge stakeholders and development teams.
• Propose technical strategies aligned with business goals and user-centered approaches.
• Design System Ownership: Take ownership of the design system, collaborating with designers to scale it as the organization grows.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a key voice in cross-functional teams, offering technical insights to enhance user experience and shaping the product roadmap.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers through code reviews and best practices, ensuring development standards are met.

Main Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with 1-3 years working on the OutSystems platform.
• Experience in Accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and responsive design principles.
• Understanding of OutSystems development and design systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English, capable of presenting ideas and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work autonomously while being a team player.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
