About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Analytics Engineer to join our team at TeamViewer. As a key member of our R&D department, you will play a critical role in shaping product decisions and processes using data-driven insights.

As the interface between development and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to our Operational Analytics function and help the business derive value from analytics data. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving data applications that optimize our TeamViewer products.

Your expertise in BI, Product Analytics, and other data-related teams will ensure that data products and insights generated align with business needs and objectives.

You will implement rigorous data testing strategies to guarantee data integrity, reliability, and quality across all data models and pipelines. This will enable trust and accuracy in decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve data applications to optimize TeamViewer products
  • Collaborate with BI, Product Analytics, and other data-related teams to align data products and insights with business needs
  • Implement data testing strategies to ensure data integrity, reliability, and quality
  • Design and build scalable data products using dbt
  • Optimize data warehouse flows and processes to handle large amounts of data
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience with a focus on data
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional data experience
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Proven experience in various data handling and analysis projects
  • Good knowledge of one or more of the following tools: Git, DBT, or BigQuery
  • Highly motivated to solve complex problems and collaborate closely with team members
  • Goal-oriented and eager to make a real difference to the business
  • Great communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with further languages being a plus
