Financial Assistant Job Description

Location: Based in our Porto office


About the Role:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team in Porto. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining the integrity of the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger within the businesses.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Administer and maintain the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
  • Responsible for sales invoicing and supplier invoices, as well as processing payments
  • Monitor Debtors/Creditors and collect payments in accordance with guidelines
  • Assist with intercompany reconciliation and manage the Fixed Asset Register
  • Support the Treasury Function
  • Provide administrative support to the Financial Controller and finance team

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will be a fluent English-speaker with excellent communication and analytical skills. You will be able to work independently, think critically, and demonstrate a passion for accounting and finance.
