Job Description
In our Interiors Management Team in Porto, we seek a dynamic and motivated engineer with a passion for cybersecurity. As a team leader/manager for Automotive Cyber Security Software, you will coordinate a team of software engineers and actively participate in developing high-quality solutions for our customers:
Manage a team of highly qualified software engineers by mentoring and developing their skills, fostering autonomy and ownership.Assign tasks according to their competences and capabilities.Conduct team meetings and events to promote open communication and feedback.Help grow the team by supporting talent retention and recruitment activities.Job interviews.Take an active role in customer project development, bringing in technical knowledge and expertise.Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.Support the acquisition of new projects, e.g., clarifying technical feasibility and effort estimation.Collaborate with other team leaders to shape company success.Cooperate in building a complex software system that serves as a platform for future vehicles.You will work with an international team and see the impact of your work globally.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.Professional experience in software development for embedded devices.Good programming skills in C/C++ for embedded microcontrollers.Profound understanding of cyber security concepts: hashing and encryption algorithms.Ability to work in international teams and with international customers.Good analytical capabilities and ability to systematically deal with challenges.Strong sense of accountability and ownership.Strong people skills and team-oriented mindset.Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).Professional experience in disciplinary and/or technical leadership would be beneficial.Additional Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), hardware debugging tools, and AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive architecture and configuration tools is a plus.
