We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Supervisor to join our team at W Algarve. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for promoting awareness of our brand image internally and externally.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will develop marketing materials, assemble information packages, and prepare or edit letters, invitations, and press reports. They will also make updates to our property website, respond to media inquiries, monitor media coverage, and support media relations outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our brand image
* Create high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, promotional materials, and maps
* Prepare or edit letters, invitations, monthly and quarterly press reports, and news releases using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
* Update our property website with fresh content and ensure it is engaging and informative
* Respond promptly to all daily general media inquiries and refer to an appropriate spokesperson when necessary
* Monitor media coverage and other external factors to identify potential or actual problem areas and opportunities
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
* At least 1 year of related work experience in marketing or a related field
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
* Physical stamina to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
