We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team at Bosch in Porto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Quality Assurance Specialist and contribute to the development of high-quality software products. As a member of our team, you will work closely with developers to identify and resolve issues or bugs, and ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Planning, conducting, and documenting software tests to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our products;
- Identifying and reproducing software defects to facilitate prompt resolution;
- Collaborating with developers and other team members to resolve issues and improve software quality;
- Evaluating software quality and performance to ensure alignment with company standards;
- Assisting in the implementation of test automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy;
- Reporting test results and progress to the development team and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or equivalent qualification;
- Experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably in a similar industry;
- Knowledge of testing methods and tools, including agile development methodologies;
- Understanding of software development processes and technologies, including coding practices and version control systems;
- Good communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams;
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex issues;
- Independent and structured work approach to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Certifications in software testing are advantageous but not required.
