Job Description: We are looking for a Finance & Administration Specialist to support the Finance and Administration Department in Lisbon. Key Responsibilities include:
- Invoicing and Collections: Generate and send invoices, track payments, manage accounts receivable, and proactively follow up on overdue payments to minimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- DSO Management: Analyze DSO, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce outstanding balances.
- Provider Management: Manage relationships with external providers, process invoices, ensure timely payments, and negotiate contracts as needed.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, analyze financial data, and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Accounting Support: Support general accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including managing office supplies, handling correspondence, and coordinating logistics.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in a similar finance and administration role, preferably in a small to medium-sized company. Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) is essential. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
