Guest Room Maintenance Coordinator Job Description:

This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained in all guest rooms and public areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and reduce room rates.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs and requests efficiently.
  • Manage and resolve any issues or complaints related to the cleanliness and maintenance of rooms or common areas.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2/3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • High level of Portuguese and good English language proficiency.
  • Hospitality degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership, personnel management, and decision-making skills.
  • Quality and customer service oriented.
