Electrification Architect

Visteon Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Electrification Architect to join our team. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of automotive technology and drive innovation in electrification systems.

As an Electrification Architect, you will be responsible for accelerating Visteon's reputation for technical excellence by developing global solutions for platforms, hardware prototypes, and providing guidance to cross-functional teams. Your primary mission is to transform how we interact with vehicles, making the driving experience more enjoyable, connected, and safe.

• Develop Functional Safety Concepts, system safety requirements, and vehicle level diagnostics for electrification systems;
• Deliver Electrification specific work products include the Safety Plan, Preliminary Hazard Analysis, Safety Requirements, and Safety Analysis including FMEDA and FTA, and Safety Verification and Validation activities;
• Define functional objectives based on Functional Safety and other requirements such as System FMEA to drive robust diagnostic solutions for electrification products.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree with over 10 years of experience, or PhD with over 5 years of experience;
• Automotive experience;
• Hands-on experience in digital and analog circuit design;
• Experience in PCB design, using schematic capture and layout tools;
• Good understanding of design for manufacturing, quality control and FMEA;
• Knowledge of environmental, reliability requirement for automotive, industrial and energy storage applications;
• Large volume product development experience;
• Experience in systems engineering;

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.
