Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will work closely with our senior management team to ensure the effective implementation of strategic decisions, adherence to budgetary and schedule constraints, and the overall execution of our business plan. Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in the management of assets (credits and shareholdings) and designing restructuring plans;
- Assisting the board and senior management of portfolio companies across various areas, including financial, commercial, marketing, and operational;
- Supporting the board and senior management in implementing internal standard procedures;
- Contributing to financial modeling, reviewing assumptions, and preparing board/investor memoranda to support management decisions and strategic reviews;
- Maintaining up-to-date financial models based on the latest financial information and projections;
- Tracking budget execution and assisting in the production of investor reports;
- Monitoring and anticipating investment capital needs, preparing capital calls, and distributions;
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A Master's degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field;
- At least 3 years of experience in corporate restructuring, corporate finance, strategic management, or financial consulting roles;
- Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced knowledge of Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking, particularly regarding data, assumptions, and strategy;
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- A high level of attention to detail and a desire to continually learn and develop;
- Collaborative and open attitude, contributing to a positive workplace culture;
- Strong sense of responsibility, project ownership, and ambition to grow into a comprehensive financial asset manager.
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at around €70,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, benefits include a hybrid work arrangement, with 2-3 days per week spent in the office in Lisbon.
