Job Description

The Chief Revenue Strategist plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth across various channels, including group and transient rooms, food and beverage, meeting room rentals, local catering, and other revenue streams. This position advises the General Manager on business intelligence and leads the sales function, focusing on building long-term relationships with customers to achieve property sales objectives. The incumbent is responsible for achieving personal booking goals and making recommendations for direct reports' goals.

Key Responsibilities

* Direct and manage all group, transient, and catering/banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel.
* Prepare and implement strategic sales plans, monthly reports, annual goals, sales and marketing budgets, forecasts, and other required reports.
* Conduct market research, analyze competition, and survey customer needs to adapt to changing business conditions.
* Develop new plans and programs and assess their effectiveness.
* Manage advertising, public relations, and promotional activities in collaboration with corporate marketing and public relations departments.
* Participate in sales presentations, property tours, and customer meetings.
* Ensure compliance with corporate focus audits and address performance issues within the Sales team.
* Recruit, train, motivate, coach, counsel, and develop departmental team members.
* Communicate effectively with other departments and conduct daily briefings with the team on key activities.
* Evaluate changes in guest needs and recommend product/service operational adjustments as necessary.
* Maintain exceptional financial performance while ensuring guest and employee satisfaction and market competitiveness.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
