About the Role

Join our team of skilled professionals at Siemens Energy, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of power plant turbine and generator components. As a Materials Tester, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive tests to detect material defects and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct non-destructive tests on turbine and generator components to detect material defects
  • Collaborate with international project teams to execute non-destructive tests and document results
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and customer representatives to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

  • Knowledge of NDT testing methods and certification according to ISO 9712, level 2 preferred
  • Technical training in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive practical experience as an NDT inspector, a plus
  • High degree of flexibility for changes in planning at short notice
  • Ability and willingness to travel worldwide
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and adaptability to foreign cultures

We are a DIN EN ISO 17025 accredited NDT testing laboratory, part of the Siemens Energy service organization for power plant turbine generator sets. Our team of highly qualified specialists is dedicated to ensuring the reliability and safety of power plant components.
