Job Title: ESG Supplier Risk Director

At The Boston Group, we are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the ESG Supplier Risk Director. This role is critical in advancing our commitment to environment, social, and governance (ESG) standards within our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead our ESG Supplier Risk program to implement strategies to assess, manage, and mitigate ESG-related risks associated with our global supplier base.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and clients to ensure that ESG considerations are integrated in procurement processes and supply chain management.
  • Oversee and coordinate our global ESG Supplier Risk Management program, coordinating efforts from a people and process perspective.
  • Design and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified ESG risks.
  • Monitor supplier performance against ESG criteria and develop regular reporting mechanisms for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ESG supplier risk, offering guidance on best practices and industry standards.
  • Stay current with emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in ESG risk management and supply chain sustainability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, with a focus on ESG and sustainability.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of developing and implementing ESG risk management strategies in a global organization.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
What You'll Work With:

As the ESG Supplier Risk Director, you will sit within our procurement function and report directly to our Executive Director of Enterprise Procurement & Payables. You will collaborate closely with key participants within the procurement team, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with our procurement strategies.
