Seeking a seasoned Mobility Compliance and Data Protection Specialist to join our Central Compliance & Data Protection team on a fixed-term contract of one year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a multinational, diverse, highly motivated, and collaborative team.
Your Daily Adventures:
- Supporting FREENOW markets (particularly Poland) and departments (Revenue Assurance, Rider and Driver Care, Product, Tech, Marketing, IT, etc.) with data protection-related topics and projects.
- Managing processes for GDPR rights requests, reviewing and negotiating data protection agreements, and implementing data protection requirements during service provider on- and offboarding.
- Planning and executing data protection projects within the FREENOW app, conducting Transfer Impact and Data Protection Impact Assessments, and carrying out Legitimate Interest Assessments.
- Developing and administering data protection and compliance trainings, preparing compliance and data protection reporting, and updating regulations and policies.
- Providing support to colleagues as needed, such as conducting third-party due diligence and screening, assisting with internal investigations, and managing the whistleblowing channel.
About You:
- University degree in law, information technology, management, or similar.
- 3+ years experience in a similar position, preferably in the tech industry.
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
- Data Privacy Certification favorable but not mandatory.
- Experience in conducting AI ethics and risk assessments would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, ability to explain complex privacy issues simply to various stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a structured manner.
- Process-oriented and independent work style.
