Digital Marketing Strategy Lead for European Markets

We are seeking a seasoned marketing leader to oversee the development and execution of our digital marketing strategy across Europe. As a Digital Marketing Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through targeted marketing campaigns.

As the EU owner of our marketing technology stack, you will collaborate with global teams and regional teams to ensure high efficiency and standardization. Your expertise in deploying dynamic content via email and across digital channels will enable us to deliver personalized experiences to customers across multiple markets and languages.

Your responsibilities will include leading the technical execution of advanced marketing strategies and tactics, maintaining a shared repository and calendar of marketing activities using program management solutions (Asana, Percolate), and orchestrating frequency of customer contacts to optimize performance. Additionally, you will spearhead the integration of new capabilities to the EU organization, including AI tools and marketing automation technologies to enhance efficiency and results.

You will also work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, product, IT, and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment of digital strategies with broader FedEx business objectives and brand positioning across different European regions.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Leadership and team management experience, with strong leadership, coaching, talent development, and delegation skills to maximize team productivity and collaboration
  • Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, particularly Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio, with certification a strong plus
  • Proven experience managing email marketing teams operating at scale across markets, with a focus on B2B email marketing
  • Data knowledge and ability to work with large amounts of marketing data, including audience and segmentation building, and database structures and cloud-based storage solutions
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in analytics tools and data visualization platforms
  • Tech curiosity and passion for implementing innovative solutions, including AI solutions in a marketing environment
  • Vendor management experience, with the ability to work with vendors in the marketing technology and data management space
  • Cross-cultural and regional marketing understanding, with experience managing marketing efforts across various European countries
