Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced VP, Medical Strategy and Head of the Hematology/Oncology Center of Excellence to lead the development of strategies to grow IQVIA's market share in hematology and oncology.

The successful candidate will participate in thought leadership activities, collaborate across the organization and ensure all resources are fully leveraged in opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic direction of the Hematology and Oncology Center of Excellence
  • Demonstrate oversight in strategic proposal development in conjunction with leaders of other functions
  • Act as consultant to team members throughout the research and development lifecycle and the duration of clinical trials
  • Review business plans for sustainable growth and make recommendations to the enterprise

Requirements:

  1. A medical degree (MD, DO or equivalent) from an accredited and internationally recognized medical school with subspecialty training in some area of hematology or oncology
  2. A minimum of ten years of prior relevant experience with at least 5 years outside of the training period in the biopharmaceutical industry
  3. Advanced business knowledge, general management and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams
  4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
