Enercon Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and fulfilling statutory obligations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a similar field, as well as a Health & Safety Certificate Level VI. A minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction industry, particularly in wind construction, is essential.

We are looking for someone who can work autonomously or collaboratively, with strict confidentiality, and has excellent communication skills. The ability to identify issues, take responsibility, and implement solutions is crucial.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and fulfill statutory obligations
  • Coordinate and assess performance of external HSE professionals working on behalf of PM
  • Engage in projects to solve complex problems and attend meetings with key customers if requested
  • Support Sales and PM in tender management for HSE requirements
  • Supervise the implementation of ENERCON HSE processes in all allocated projects in the region
  • Support training and provision of guidelines to employees of the Branch, PM team, and external HSE consultancies working on behalf of PM
  • Perform audits and track the status of implementation of HSE standards
  • Investigate accidents and severe incidents
  • Adapt global ENERCON HSE rules to local standards, create, and maintain a HSE management system for Region countries and projects
  • Carry out Management Site Audits / Inspections in the form of regular site visits

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or similar
  • Health & Safety Certificate Level VI
  • At least 5 years of HSE experience in the construction business, preferably in Wind construction
