Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Freight Management Coordinator to join our team in Alverca do Ribatejo.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the transportation industry and be proficient in managing customer orders and ensuring timely deliveries.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Closely communicate with customers and manage their orders
  2. Pro-actively supervise customer orders to ensure best possible performance
  3. Assume ownership for all needed tasks for defined Trade Lanes and/or specific customers
  4. Dispatch and plan FTL tours to ensure highest possible performance and in-time deliveries

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Portuguese and European Road Freight market
  • Understanding of market typical dynamics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, problem solve, and work under pressure
  • Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications), focus on Excel
  • Experience in market-conform TMS preferred
