Job Title: Public Relations Manager

At Zendesk, we're on a mission to power exceptional service for every person on the planet. We're seeking a passionate PR Manager dedicated to the UK market to join our Global Communications Team, reporting into the EMEA Comms Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement PR strategies that align with the global communications strategy, focusing on the UK market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key UK media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage in top-tier publications.
  • Write, edit, and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR content that communicate our brand messages effectively.
  • Organize and manage press interviews, media briefings, and other events to generate positive publicity.
  • Collaborate with the social media team to amplify PR campaigns.
  • Track media coverage, analyze PR campaign effectiveness, and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in external communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Native English speaker or business fluent.
  • Previous experience working in the tech, CX, or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements in the UK.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain media relationships.
