Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support on matters related to Financial Law and Governance (alternative real estate investment funds), Real Estate Law, Commercial Law, and other areas of expertise.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents, ensuring their compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare clear and precise legal opinions.
  • Monitor legislative developments and ensure the implementation of new rules and regulations applicable to the company's activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external legal teams to ensure the legal compliance of the company's projects or operations.
  • Provide legal support to various departments within the company, as requested.

Role Requirements

  • Law degree with a valid registration in the Portuguese Bar Association.
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-internship experience as a lawyer in relevant areas, particularly Real Estate Law, Commercial Law, and Financial Law (management of collective investment schemes).
  • In-depth knowledge of the Portuguese legal system and its respective practice areas.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent ability to analyse and interpret legislation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • High sense of responsibility and professional ethics.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Location and Schedule

This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office located in Lisbon, Portugal.
