Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Trofa, Portugal.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a challenging and international environment with innovative cutting-edge technologies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and moderate product and process FMEA in the product development process with focus on process FMEA
- Create and update existing FMEA
- Evaluate and ensure the FMEA methodology for product and process FMEA
- Support in creating production control plans from FMEA processes
- Provide feedback on new findings into the FMEA (8D, lessons learned, etc.)
- Develop reusable FMEA modules
- Monitor FMEA progress in projects
- Document work results
- Risk assessment and analysis
- Provide technical support to project teams during FMEA presentations internally and externally
- Process and track submitted lessons learn topics for the Preh Group
Requirements:
- Engineer, technician, master craftsman or comparable training combined with several years of professional experience in product development
- Strong knowledge of FMEA methods according to VDA/AIAG method descriptions
- Safe application of common quality methods such as Ishikawa, 5 Why, FTA, etc.
- Experience working with FMEA software, preferably APIS IQ-Software
- Analytical, structured, and independent working style, assertiveness, and ability to work in a team
- Excellent communication and moderation skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office software
- Very good written and spoken English skills
