We are looking for a Mobile Product Engineer to join our team. As a Mobile Engineer, you will work on our mobile applications, a critical project that addresses customer needs. You will need to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic about taking on new challenges across the full-stack as we push technology forward.

Our products handle large amounts of information and extend beyond selling flights and hotels. We are looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from various areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, UI design, and mobile.

We are a product-oriented mobile team with a growth mindset. We are curious problem solvers who are bold in our decisions, collaborative, communicative, and share knowledge and technical ideas to grow together. You will have autonomy over the software you build and the freedom to choose the right tool for the job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the entire product lifecycle and strategy, including concept, design, testing, release, and support phases.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to deliver the best customer experience.
  • Develop mobile apps and mobile platform programs, writing and maintaining source code that meets product and customer needs.
  • Produce fully functional mobile applications, ensuring code quality and functionality.
  • Research and suggest new mobile products and applications, staying ahead of market trends and innovation.
  • Understand our business and customer value, recognizing how products impact customers and drive business success.
  • Leverage technology for business success, identifying how technology can be a key enabler.
  • Learn and share knowledge on new technologies and trends, applying new insights to current and future products.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • Passion and enthusiasm for your work, demonstrated by attention to detail.
  • 2+ years of professional mobile app development experience, with experience working on publicly available apps.
  • Proven Android or iOS development experience, with hands-on expertise.
  • Knowledge of React Native (Typescript), with proficiency in this framework.
  • Understanding of mobile UI/UX design guidelines, with skills in custom views, interaction, and animations.
  • Experience with agile and pair programming methodologies, proven teamwork in agile environments.
  • Collaborative feedback experience, with the ability to share and receive feedback constructively.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. The salary range is an estimate based on industry standards and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
