About the Role:
This role requires 3+ years of experience as a COBOL developer, with expertise in system maintenance and feature development. Strong knowledge of banking, specifically in the Accounts area, is essential to align technical development with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and development of mainframe systems
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system operations
- Experience with Altamira (or similar tools) is an advantage
- Delivery of high-quality, reliable code
- Management of maintenance contracts
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in COBOL programming
- Functional knowledge in banking, specifically in the Accounts area
- Proficiency in managing maintenance contracts
- Fluency in English language
- Availability for hybrid working model in Lisbon, Coimbra or Braga
