About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Specialist to join our Risk Management team in Lisbon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving our Data Protection framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and contribute to the development of an advanced risk culture
- Develop the existing reporting framework and contribute to organizational committees
- Ensure the development and implementation of an adequate training and awareness plan for staff
- Assume the role of Data Protection & Privacy Manager in Cardif Support
- Contribute to the implementation of a sound data protection framework and assist in day-to-day activities
- Ensure the execution of actions to prevent data protection incidents
- Identify data protection alerts and deploy corrective/preventive actions
- Contribute to the identification and registration of data processing activities
Requirements:
- Degree in any area
- Previous working experience in Internal Control and Risk Management (3-5 years)
- Holder of relevant certifications (CIPP or CISM preferred)
- High sense of confidentiality
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Very good written and oral communication skills
- Fluency in English (Portuguese appreciated, French a plus)
- Strong customer satisfaction and quality results orientation
- Good listening and questioning ability
- Ability to plan work ahead and prioritize workload
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Curious and willing to work on different tasks
- High adaptability and flexibility
